Bernard C. Pelot

Bernard C. Pelot, 84 of Tamaroa, passed away at 6:02 A.M., Friday, October 17, 2003 at his residence.
Bernard was a retired police officer for Woodson Terrace, MO. He was a member of the Friendship Church of Christ at Tamaroa . He was also a life member of the Du Quoin VFW Post 513. He served his country in W.W. II serving in the US Air Force.
He was born March 25, 1919 at St. Louis, MO , the son of Benjamin Joseph and Anna Rose (Wirth) Pelot.
He married Vada M. Martin on May 17, 1941 at St. Louis, MO she passed away October 14, 2003.
He is survived by three daughters- Connie Cross and husband John of Florissant, MO, Vada J. Pikey and husband David of Hillsboro, MO, Judy McGuire and husband Joe of Kansas City, MO, one son- Bernie Pelot of Ironton, MO, twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
A joint funeral service with his wife Vada Pelot was at Noon, Monday, October 20, 2003 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Bro. Darrell McCombs officiating.
Friends alled from 10 A.M. until Noon Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Interment was in the Tamaroa Cemetery.
